Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Jany Temime
Q: How do you feel about the cultural impact of your designs, especially in the Harry Potter universe?
Originally, we weren't aware of the extent of our success. We simply focused on our work and creating costumes, but over time I realized the enormous impact and phenomenon it had become, especially at the premiere of the last film where I saw fans camping out for two nights.
Jany Temime
Q: What was your experience designing for House of the Dragon?
It was my first big television series, and I was a fan of the original show, which made it very enjoyable. I had a lot of freedom to use my imagination, as the series allowed for creative character development without strict historical constraints.
Peter Copping
Q: What do you hope students and museum guests take away from the exhibition?
Copping hopes students appreciate the incredible opportunities they have to reference and look at historical works closely, along with discovering the world of Jean Lanvin.
Peter Copping
Q: How does your history of working at all these different famous houses contribute to your work?
Copping emphasizes that his experiences shape his understanding of fashion history and the need to create relevant designs for today, while honoring the brand's heritage.
Antoni Porowski
Q: What is your favorite comfort food, and where can we get it in Atlanta?
I love Chai Pani for Indian street food and Marcel's for cozy, upscale dining. Both have unique offerings that I enjoy.
