Wanted to love this, but constant background noises are way too distracting: TONS of lighter flicking/bong hit sounds, clicking noises, eating, terrible sound effects (like the 100th episode.) If the podcasters decide to do another show, maybe devote the time to care about the sound quality for your listeners. The point was great, but the sounds made it almost impossible to want to listen.
AWESOME SHOW.
I love The Nanny. I’ve seen it, like, more than a dozen times. Growing up, my mother and I used to watch it on Lifetime. I don’t think this podcast does the show justice. There were some instances (for example when they wondered what Max’s first wife, Sarah, looked like) that made me wonder if they had ever seen the show before. I love this podcast ! I love the nanny , it’s been on repeat for the last few years ! I love the segments.. especially the Yiddish . I think it’s great !
Love this show! Recently binge-watched the nanny for the first time and having this to binge-listen to after has been a perfect way to satisfy my hyperfixation! Plus who doesn’t love fun facts (and sometimes clarification on references I miss) it’s like having friends who will talk to you about your obsession (especially when none of your friends will anymore 😂)
