In each episode, I take a deep dive into a story of parenthood OR I answer a letter from a loyal parent listener about their most pressing parenting problems, in a segment called Dear Nurse Papa. In either case, I hope to come out on the other side with a greater understanding of what makes kids AND their par... more

Love listening!
Nurse Papa is a gift to exhausted parents, offering a refreshing dose of humor in a time when it’s really, really tough to be a parent. I love how Nurse Papa tackles difficult subjects and everyday challenges in a way that makes parents feel seen, heard, and supported. My husband and I listened to the episode on climate change together and both deeply appreciated it - it’s a great podcast to listen to with a partner. Thank you, Nurse Papa!
First, I have to issue a disclaimer that I work with Nurse Papa. Now, that could be good or bad, depending how our relationship is, right? His podcast exudes the real man behind the voice. He’s introspective, insightful, funny, and comically honest. Not only is he one good dude in the flesh, his podcast brings to light the many idiosyncrasies of fatherhood and provides a little undertone that I’m familiar with of being in healthcare. Give it a listen; you won’t be disappointed!
I love listening to the Nurse Papa podcast because it’s a breath of fresh air for weary parents and parents concerned if they are getting it right! It brings joy and laughter to those that listen and the reminder that if our children know we love them- then we have won the “parenting battle”. Thank you David for sharing your heart through the podcast.
Nurse Papa is the funniest and most entertaining podcast I spend my time listening to these days. The stories that David tell are fully relatable and so darn true to my experience as a dad. The advice he gives to parents in the Dear Nurse Papa segment is hilarious and spot on every time. If you are a mom or dad navigating modern parenthood, you need to listen and laugh with Nurse Papa!
