The best thing about NTD is that it’s just the news - no spin or commentary, no dumb panels, no telling you what you are supposed to think. I think it’s also good that it’s just an hour - not the result of a 24 hour news channel, which mostly is for the purpose of fearmongering and propaganda.

I'd highly recommend checking any story you hear on this in another source with less bias, or at least a different bias. I recommend BBC, ABC Australia, Al Jazeera, SBS Australia, DW from Germany, CBC from Canada, or Vox. Every story that people in the USA say the mainstream media aren't covering, i have found in one of those, usually the first one i tried.
