NPTE Clinical Files is a podcast from the creator of Dominating the NPTE, hosted by Kyle Rice. NPTE Clinical Files explains a true clinical scenario in the form of a mock NPTE-based question. Each question is followed by a set of answer choices, where Dr. Kyle Rice explains the right answer with a detailed rationale. Each season covers all of the major systems and topics found in physical therapy and likely to be found on an NPTE. NPTE Clinical Files gives the Physical Therapist a weekly opportunity to solve clinical puzzles while learning the latest research related to the topic. The podcast is a wonderful tool to use as you begin to study for the NPTE. I love how brief each episode is, but it still touches on important topics that you will see on the exam. I also took the PT premium course they offer and passed the exam on my FIRST try! The course provided everything I needed to study including a study guide, live lectures, recorded lectures, and a flexible study schedule. I highly recommend it!
Thank you Kyle for doing this podcast. I recently passed the exam in April with a 700. I have listened to your entire back catalog of questions and felt they reflected the difficulty of the NPTE well. Many concepts on the NPTE I was first introduced to through your podcast. Definitely should a part of anyone’s story arsenal.
This is a good supplement to studying for the NPTE while utilizing other resources. This is perfect during a workout, drive, etc. to test your knowledge on certain topics. Highly recommend! Kyle’s breakdown of each question and answer is great!
I listened to this podcast as often as I could: driving, walking the dogs, cleaning, sometimes during workouts. I truly feel that the information provided is easy to take in, highly relevant, and long lasting (good tips and tricks for remembering concepts). I seriously give credit to the PT Hustle podcast and team for my success in passing the NPTE.
I did my own studying for the NPTE but this podcast gave me the framework to create a study guide. I started listening and taking notes in my phone’s notes app and then would study that concept and expand later. I listened to EVERY episode and stuck with this method because it gave me to motivation to keep going. I ended up with over 20 pages of notes just based on this podcast alone and organized it by topics. This was a huge part of how I succeeded. Thanks Coach K!
