  • A unique football podcast in the sea of sameness

An insightful, interesting show with unique stories and perspectives. NPLH already does an amazing job with their magazine (which also is worth a subscription), and the podcast is the perfect extension of it. It stands out in the sea of sameness and is great for all of those who seek to learn, understand, and get a view into aspects of the football world not typically covered by traditional outlets.

Q: What motivates you to pursue those deep-dive, archival stories rather than quick, click-driven pieces?

94. Dave Murray
Q: You mentioned there was pretty much no choice in your career path. How did you navigate that and what about AI concerns?
He describes growing up in a blue-collar family, choosing art as a path, balancing multiple projects, and acknowledging AI as an existential threat while advocating for human-driven craft and the value of practice and personal style.
94. Dave Murray
Q: Where does this all begin, how did you get into illustration and teaching?
