I have been following Dr.JB Hixson for over 2 years now and find his teachings informative and well documented. Everyone needs this information.I find JB Hixson to be very courageous in presenting unpopular truthful information. When I was in Colorado I visited Plumb Creek Chapel and found it a very friendly and welcoming group of believers. JB was as warm, humble and kind as he presents on his podcast. He’s the real deal!! I have also ordered his books which are well researched and excellent fo... more

I couldn’t find a place to leave my comments on the app, soooo! You guys missed it big about attending homosexual weddings! At an alcoholic’s wedding people are not there to celebrate his alcoholism! So you are wrong by a mile! Marriage is honorable in all, according to scripture! Same for those who are shacking up. Now if they marry they are making their living conditions right before God! So wrong again! Thirdly, where in scripture does it tell us that marriage is sanctioned by the government?... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

1486. Christians, the Church, and Politics
Q: Give us a quick update on your family and how things are going in your world up there in Illinois?
Lucas gives a personal update about family life, church connections, and ongoing ministry work in Illinois, setting the stage for the discussion on how faith intersects with public life.
1485. Is it Okay to Be Patriotic?
Q: How do you view the relationship between the church and government in light of this movement?
The church should not seek to take dominion over the government or shape policy to achieve a kingdom here and now; its primary calling is to make disciples and proclaim the gospel, while civil government has a distinct, limited role in blessing good and punishing evil.
1485. Is it Okay to Be Patriotic?
Q: All right. JB, what is Christian nationalism?
Christian nationalism is a movement that merges church and state in ways that many see as unhealthy, arguing that believers should influence government to advance a Christian agenda rather than the church focusing on discipleship and gospel proclamation.
1475. Must Faith Have Works to Be Real?
Q: Is faith without works about losing salvation or something else?
They conclude it's not about losing salvation but about the practical consequences of a faith not lived out, especially in how believers interact with others and reflect the gospel.
1475. Must Faith Have Works to Be Real?
Q: What does James mean when he says faith without works is dead?
The guests discuss faith as demonstrated in visible actions toward others, arguing that dead faith refers to faith not lived out—it doesn't negate salvation by grace but shows a lack of authentic response to God's grace.
