I do like to get different perspectives even though I am not a marxist. I found these podcasts to be factual and refreshing. The guests on the podcasts are also interesting and I have learned a lot. It's certainly a way of enriching yourself and expanding the boundaries of your own perspectives. Give this podcast a try.
Great pace and I loved the content of both episodes I listened to today. I’ll definitely be adding this one to the rotation 👍 subscribed ✅ - Independent Thought podcast
I want to like this podcast, all the ingredients are there, but there is too much pre amble and ramble. Sometime I skip to about minute 13 right off the bat. Also I find a lot of the host’s questions and talking pretty unfocused.
Lots of really interesting topics, Jules has a great voice for podcasting, and despite being relatively new, it’s had some really great guests on as well! On top of that the in depth dives are really, really fascinating

A hard-edged, ideologically informed discussion program that centers Marxist analyses of politics, philosophy, and global events. Episodes frequently feature long-form interviews and monologues that challenge mainstream narratives on war, imperialism, and social change, while weaving in history, theory, and personal experience. The show stands out for its rigorous critique of Western power structures, its willingness to engage controversial topics with candid language, and its focus on underrepresented perspectives and movements. Listeners who enjoy dense, theory-grounded conversation about geopolitics, culture, and human behavior are likely to find it particularly compelling, though the material can be provocative and uncompromising.
