I just found out about this podcast and listened to it for the first time. I wish I knew about it earlier. Very helpful and insightful information for high-stakes NFC. Great job.
The only thing sadder than the hyperactive super user world of fantasy baseball Twitter is actually talking about it, even if it’s for the sake of bad comedy for an audience of about 50, which is what Zack does here. So that’s a -1. Still, Zack and Mark are winners and it’s nice to listen to them talk approaches. And that’s a 5.
Love this podcast. As a baseball nerd I enjoy listening to a lot of baseball pods. But because of all the player talk, tiers etc etc they can get old. I enjoy the process talk and theories much more. If you do not want to be indoctrinated by the same player talk over and over, do your own player research and prep then you will enjoy this show!
Entertaining and informative. Focused on process - not just a list of player takes. My number 1 must listen to podcast.
Don’t mistake talking for insight. Not every voice needs a platform.

This show centers on high-stakes fantasy baseball auctions, with in-depth looks at drafting strategies, player valuations, and auction dynamics in the NFBC. Episodes frequently dissect pitching targets, inflation in prices, and how to balance rosters under budget constraints, often weighing analytics against real-world draft psychology. The conversations mix practical tactics, debate over projection systems, and colorful anecdotes, which can help listeners prepare for competitive drafts and spot undervalued players. A notable strength is the humor and camaraderie that make complex topics approachable, while the breadth of topics—from stars-and-scrubs debates to post-500 ADP sleepers—offers a wide palette for fantasy enthusiasts and sponsors... more
