It’s a great scientific podcast, but apart from one episode I could find with Dr John Manning, it seems far more focussed on zoology than botany. Maybe there are some further back, but just a note for any new listeners, its more about organisms that move than organisms with roots.
As a taxonomist and phylogeneticist, I want to love this show. But after so many episodes I would’ve thought that the hosts would’ve invested in some better recording equipment. The hosts always have a weird echo, and the guests (probably recording from just a zoom recording with their internal computer mic) sound so muffled it’s almost impossible to understand them.
