I like that these two don’t take themselves too seriously. Just two guys watching movies and telling us what they think. Awkward pauses and humor.
…that are hacky and bad. These guys kept my attention longer than 10 mins
Some good laughs and insights. I thought the comment about the miscarriage was a bit kunty. A bit more sensitivity wouldn’t hurt.
It’s so sad and disappointing to hear people talk about movies in a podcast and they haven’t heard of Peter Greenaway before . It’s even ten time sadder when they are filmmakers too. A casual, Netflix-centric film show where two hosts riff about a movie each week, mixing nostalgia, quick trivia, and banter with personal anecdotes. The conversations are informal, often weaving in pop culture rumors, related titles, and light criticism, plus occasional guests that keep the discussions lively. The format seems to thrive on approachable, conversational takes and a strong sense of camaraderie, making it feel like a hangout with friends who love movies and streaming culture. A standout is the recurring banter and broad topic swings, which can feel both entertaining and grocery-list clear for potential listeners choosing what to watch next or considering a sponsorship.
