Well it's one thing to kill a leviathan, but hey, we can't forget to swim up to the cavern's um... hole... so we can escape, too.

The lich queen is starting to get her bony pelvis handed to her, and at long last, "the two fingers" are finally in use at good old Episode 71. For 3 bonus episodes a month and more, subscribe to our Patreon at patreon.com/nerdpoker. For merch, socia... more
The Ding Dong Danglers, if we can call them that, continue to smack the lich around while the leviathan gobbles up the fishfolk. Also, oh Episode 70. Remember 69? And Episode 71 is so far away, by which we mean only one finger is in use right now. Fo... more

the show used to be so fun. Maybe I'm just 15 years older and the "comedy" doesn't hit, but these guys are 5,10 years older than me. Anyway, ever since they went to ZOOM it sucks.
Just so you know hand crossbows and other weapons of the same type are loading weapons so you can only attack once pr turn even if you have 2 or more attacks available to you . So some of the stuff you do is not possible. But still great show!
I have learned a ton about D&D storytelling from Dan the DM
AND
a ton about being super funny from Blaine. I laugh more at this show than every other actual play podcast put together
The show is great, but I wanted to say I would be happy with you doing more episodes remote again if it means everyone stays healthy.
My absolute favorite DnD show! Blaine's commercials are the absolute best!

A D&D actual-play and improv show centered on a rotating table of friends who riff through dungeon crawls, boss battles, and lore-heavy encounters. Across episodes, the crew blends tactical combat with character-driven humor, rapid-fire dice, and meta banter about streaming, sponsorships, and Patreon support. Notable is the balance between high-energy tabletop action and loose, playful storytelling, plus a long-running in-person vibe tempered by occasional remote sessions and community engagement that keeps listeners coming back for familiar banter and evolving campaigns.
