Q: Could you tell us a little bit about some of the injuries that horses might experience during racing?
Fatal musculoskeletal injuries, commonly fractures, are often preventable but serious, while sudden deaths pose diagnostic challenges.

Kilner noted that imposing strong selection pressures in a life-or-death situation for the larvae may have contributed to rapid adaptations.
