  • Devastated that NBC is closed :’(

    I’m having my first baby and want a natural birth and I just found this podcast today. I listened to a few episodes and they were fantastic, and I learned about the NBC workshop, and immediately was like, sign me up! But then I was so devastated to find out that NBC has closed!! What?!   • Please add a trigger warning for hemorrhaging to episode #58

    I am 32 weeks pregnant and having a HBAC. I have been encouraged by my midwife and doula to listen to birth stories. I listened to this podcast for the first time, I chose episode #58. In this episode, there is a trigger warning for the mention of weight loss but no trigger warning for the talk about the guests sister hemorrhaging during birth. I really wish I was warned that this was talked about bc I would have stopped the episode chosen a different episode. I spent the rest of the day running... more

  • Yaaaaaaaaaa

    Really enjoyed the show but I cannot get over the constant interrupting “yaaaaaaaa!! Yaaaaaa!” Had to stop listening, the “yaa!” Was like a broken record

  • Fantastic!

    Excellent stories and conversations around positive birth. The host does emphatically say “yesss” far too many times while the guest is speaking…. Which can be cringey at times but overall an excellent podcast !!
