I listened to the first podcast and was blown away by the sincerity and love Cynthia has for parents with children who may not fit in the circle of common. She loves and she presents truths in a way that is thoughtful and clear. The quote “it’s none of your business what people think of you” caused me to stop and ask myself isn’t it? As a parent for 30 years, a senior pastor and youth worker I’d highly recommend this podcast!
Thank you so much for making me feel seen and giving good insights on how to let go of what is not serving or helping my son and I.
Great information shared from the heart. I’d never thought about what we as parents bring to our child rearing in this type of situation. So poignant that there’s lots of good advice but you are the parent and you know your child so you must try and decide what is right.
What really resonated was when she talks about learning to calm yourself first in the middle of a meltdown. Our children do learn from the way we react, and they mirror us. She does a great job of giving clear, simple, steps for parents.
