  • Very cool indeed

As a baby millennial considering a career change to the Foreign Service, this podcast is awesome! Very informative. Also love that the host started pre-internet, so it’s cool to hear about how things were done differently and how some things were harder without a smartphone in your hand at all times. Enjoy the dynamic between mother/son. I really really really hope they do subsequent seasons!!! Woman power!!!

  • A walk down memory lane!

Listening to Christine’s stories is like a walk down memory lane. My husband and I served 20+ years in the FS and consider it the adventure of a lifetime. Nothing in life is perfect but the Foreign Service provided us with meaningful work, worldwide adventures and a sense of purpose that is hard to find in the “normal” 9-5 job. I was lucky enough to work with Christine for a while during our careers and can’t wait to hear more of her story!
