This review is based on the Return of the King episode, which I been much enjoyed. Chris and his guest, Sarah, do a great job talking through how and why Howard Shore’s score works so perfectly, including just the right amount of technical background (I know little about scoring and film-making and didn’t ever feel lost in minutiae).
