Sadly, this was a disappointing series compared to others done by Keith and Dateline. The story, while incredibly sad, just did not have the robustness and meat required for a 6-episode series. The final episode felt completely disconnected from the main story and was more about an ego trip for the main female contributor.
I understand they’re trying to emulate a gumshoe, detective noir style but I found it extremely corny and over produced. Not my cup of tea, couldn’t get through the first episode
The story is good, and his voice is good, but his sarcastic tone and lack of empathy for the victim and mother are really grating and Makes the listener uneasy.
Keith Morrison is the man ! Great reporting
To be honest… this podcast series has been my LEAST favorite of all… and I’m a diehard Dateline fan! more
