    you mention that the Australian government launched a diplomatic response to the alleged shooting of an Australian journalist who was not appropriately marked as a journalist and now it is evident it was from a ricochet.

    Please note that the same Australian government had no problem from his counterpart in Victoria by authorising the shooting rubber bullets at protesters and journalists during the COVID lockdowns .
