We all have that one film buff friend. But imagine being a fly on the wall when that friend gets to film geek-out with another film buff friend.
Alex & Karan are not only very knowledgeable cinephiles but they really help you realize how much movies have truly changed our lives, and it’s a really fun way to explore self development & self discovery
The podcast is about movies that shaped one persons life, so then to listen to another persons simplistic review of the same film goes against why it was discussed in the first place, the “critics’ need to have something to say.
I really enjoy Karan and Alex’s perspectives on each movie they discuss and how it relates back to their personal lives. We all can relate to different aspects of movies but these guys do a wonderful job taking things further and allowing you to truly relate. I appreciate the vast variety of movies they highlight which allows me to discover movies that I never heard or and/or even thought to consider watching. Overall, great podcast that is relatable, entertaining and above all inspiring.
These guys are really funny and thoughtful when they talk about movies. I love movies and I can tell they do too. What a fun insightful podcast.
