Cool mountain stories from interesting people.
This is a great podcast for anyone who loves to explore, whether that’s in the mountains , hillwalking, or travelling to new countries and places. The conversations provide a really interesting insight into the lives of people who go up mountains for a living, and why it’s a calling that they can’t refuse. The stories are genuinely inspiring and all delivered in an accessible way so you don’t have to be a mountain expert to get a lot out of them.
I was really inspired listening to the Rob Johnson episode. It was great to hear his take on the pandemic and positives and changes he has taken from it. But the crux has to be his retelling of the Cullin ridge rescue and then years later getting a call from the guide congratulating him on gaining his MIC. more
Nice podcast, calm, relaxed and friendly conversations about outdoor life in the mountains and beyond.
