Q: What advice would you give to young girls who want to start racing?
You just have to dive in deep and go for it. Time on the bike is invaluable, and if there's a will, there's a way.

I focus on cycling for training and recovery, as well as some gym workouts, but cycling is my main fitness routine.

Q: What was your experience like racing with a broken hand?
I broke my hand two days before round eight but I managed to race with it. It was tough but I was motivated to finish strong during the race.

Q: Mikayla, how did you get into motocross?
My dad got a dirt bike when he started working for the city, and he got me and my sister one as well. I began riding when I was about 3 and started racing at age 7.

The bagger racing has gained popularity and it's impressive that riders can lap as quick as a supersport bike, even though they are heavy motorcycles.
