Join Luke Westaway and Andy Farrant as they talk about cinema's greatest achievement: Disney Channel Original Movies. From X-TREME rollerblading, to Mermen, to homicidal smart homes, there's something for everyone in these brilliant, baffling films. Also, usually the mom character in the film is unable to cook, and this is considered richly comic. Hence the name.

You know you're in for a good time when a movie features a 'witch mountain', right? Well, not if you've seen 1995's Escape to Witch Mountain. Then you'll know how it's perfectly possible for a film featuring a witch mountain to also be utterly incomp... more
What if Home Alone starred a mouse instead of Kevin McCallister, and what if the Wet Bandits legally owned the house he was murdering them in? These are the questions that only Mouse Hunt is brave enough to ask.

As a doctor in Emergency Medicine I used to listen to medical podcasts designed to keep my knowledge and skills up to date. Since discovering THIS podcast about low budget movies aimed for kids two decades ago it’s all I can listen to! One can only imagine the potential number of real deaths this has caused. When will Luke and Andy be held accountable for their crimes? 5 stars no notes.
I may never forgive Luke and Andy for teaching me the names of all the Jonas brothers, including the secret fourth one. And now they’re even forcing me to sign up to their Patreon, because I simply have to know whether or not Erie Indiana is actually real (one word: Tupperware 0.o).
Just as with their hated rivals Kermode and Mayo: when a film is good, it’s good; when a film is bad, it’s better. And wow are there a lot of bad Disney(ish) films (I assume, I refuse to watch the films myself, so t... more
The best thing about Mom Can’t Cook is the ability to listen to old episodes over again and still find them fresh and hilarious. My personal favourite of the previous ones is the Hatching Pete episode, which is so baffling and strange that it makes me wonder if Clumsy the Clown wrote it.
Speaking of clowns, thats what I look like when I laugh or smile at literally anything Andy and Luke happen to laugh at over the course of the episodes.
My peers likely have questions.
I don’t intend to answer t... more
I first heard Andy & Luke in The Oxventure Podcast. Then on a fateful day while bored at work, Apple Podcasts recommended this absolute gem! Now I’ve listened to every release they’ve had and no longer know how to fill the monotony of my working day. Thank you for being absolutely hilarious and opening my eyes to things I missed as a child watching DCOMs!
This podcast made me laugh out loud during a sting operation. Because of this I am currently tied up in a chair waiting to be injected with liquid Satan. These are my final words to the world, tell my family I love them. 5 stars.
