Listened to episode on Le Samouraï. Totally missed the point of the movie with respect to Jef’s motivation at the end.

Generally excellent movie review show structured as a rambling discussion between veteran Brooklyn screenwriter Bob Schneider and amiable hipster comedian Dan Wilbur.
The charm comes from their differing perspectives - Schneider is the father figure - older, steeped in classic film, Jewish. Wilbur is the mid western neophyte landed in NYC, younger, occasionally a academic, and learning from an amiable teacher.
A great weekly conversation that has inspired me to rewatch some classics and look... more
