Listening to the episode from last year about having some halfway policy about phone use. Absolutely do not agree that either one of you should encourage students to use their phones, ever. Are you naive in thinking the behavior that happens at lunch stays out of the classroom with your lenient and way-too-nuanced policies around phone use?
