  • Depressing

One sided glorification of jd Vance’s ignorant speech. He met the leader of the AFD an organisation that wants closer ties with Russia.

Maybe present a balance view? As many many catholics I know were appalled at his speech.

  • Intelligent AND accessible

Wonderful podcast on current issues affecting the Church and Western culture. Intelligent without being arrogant and very accessible to the thoughtful listener. Dr Ashenden is an excellent interviewer and well-versed in so many issues in his own right. He conveys warmth, friendliness and genuine interest, all without rambling. I am so grateful to have found this fantastic resource!

Is Catholic education beyond repair? | In conversation with Dr Jonathan J Sanford
Q: Let's say there's a young child who's about to go to college, a student, and they're discerning where to go with their parents, and it's an exceptionally bright child, and they're pondering, should I send my child who could get into an Ivy League, should I send them to an Ivy League or should I send them to University of Dallas? What would you tell them?
I would tell them that the University of Dallas provides the immersion in the liberal arts and the unified core that is no longer found at many Ivy League schools, offering a living tradition of intellectual formation and virtuous character that prepares students for a lifetime of service and leadership.
