Meeple, Myself, and I is a podcast by an avid solo gamer (Jason Montgomery) for solo gamers. Inspired by This American Life, Invisibilia, Radiolab, and other "spoken essay"-style podcasts, this fully scripted show tries to do things a little bit differently.

GREAT EPISODE NAME, right?!
Season 2 comes to an end, almost exactly a year after it started. I do apologize that I haven't been more consistent with these episodes, but I'm not sorry for the reasons behind those delays. (Does that... even make sen... more
The ostensible purpose of this episode is to discuss the latest South Tigris game - namely, Scholars of the South Tigris. What ends up happening is a retrospective on ALL of the North Sea, West Kingdom, and South Tigris games, which I'm sure is shock... more
Back for another episode! The audio quality is a bit low on this one, and I do apologize for that - I wanted to get this one HOT OFF THE PRESSES before I get a puppy in my house shortly.
IT'S FINE I AM NOT STRESSING ABOUT IT AT ALL
I'm selling things from my house, which means selling LOTS of things on Facebook. It sucks.
This episode is some musings (ramblings?) about "trust" in online communities that buy and sell things from strangers, and it offers some context for why I ... more
Jason puts together a real podcast treat, experimenting with different ways to present his journey with games, and how that fits into his life. There are a lot of board gaming podcasts where the hosts haven’t prepared and incoherently talk for an hour, but not here. This podcast is well scripted, well thought out, and well done. Not to mention it’s solo only! Just icing on the cake!
One of the best board gaming podcasts I’ve listened to. Jason produces a stellar mix of content, and I originally came for the tightly written essays and stayed for the personal commentary. Thank you for sharing your insights and your story.
I was introduced to this podcast by a friend of the host after I mentioned I enjoy solo gaming. I am really enjoying these episodes and plan to look into some of the featured games.
This is a wonderful board gaming podcast. With a focus on solo play, the host does a great job of bringing a wider perspective and diving deeper into these games.
I really enjoy the length of these episodes and solid production. Looking forward to more episodes to come.
This new podcast has already emerged as one of the topic solitaire gaming podcasts available. I love the production quality and depth of analysis. Highest possible recommendation!
