I really tried to get through this fiction podcast, but the writing is just too bad. The ways that it’s bad are too many to list. Two stars instead of one because it was an early serialized fiction podcast. But it desperately needs editing, and sensitivity readers.
I can’t believe this book isn’t widely published and distributed. Definitely listen to this.
Best book I have ever read. I am surprised that people dislike it and I also find it irritating that people would compare it to other pieces of work.
Though a bit hard to get used to at first, this story captivated me like no other, making me finish it in under a day. more
The story is so descriptive that it really captures you. The details describing every idea the author introduces are intricate and thoughtful providing a very powerful story. The mix of fact and fantasy are so well thought that they appeal to both youth and adult. A great read, or listen!! more
Might be an ok story if you're in to obvious rip-offs of stories like Harry Potter, The Golden Compass, etc. Unfortunately I'll never know, couldn't get past the terrible reading (most characters sound like 1980's wrestlers) and horrible, pervasive score. more
This story is perfect for any person wishing to escape from life and embark on an adventure with characters who feel like friends. more
