Steven is a combination of both a master product practitioner and probing interviewer. He reminds me of David Rubenstein’s interview style. Steven is great at getting the most out of his hosts with an eye towards getting the audience to pull a key theme out of the discussion. I highly recommend this podcast.
Great refresher course for me, personally. Can’t wait for more episodes!
Steven always has interesting guess
I know Steven’s former podcast on product management. When I saw this, I figured it was worth a listen. Steven’s probably one of the most approachable, easy-going hosts. Informal, informative, and innovative. Also - it’s only 20 minutes so I can easily digest. Bravo Steven. Thank you.
I may be a bit biased in that I was among Steve’s first interviews, however working with Steve around the topic of business acumen really opened my eyes to just how important business acumen is to the role of a business or product leader. For hiring managers, how much focus did you put on this area when interviewing candidates? When you listen to Steve and his interviews you begin to look inward and gain insight into how you’ve developed your acumen and where there is still work to do.
