Shag is bringing the joy to a great era of Marvel’s Star Wars comics from the 1980s. For so many of us, these comics are what kept our love of the SW universe alive in the long wait between films. Having a show that dives back into them is a gift worthy of Life Day.
Also, since Shag agrees to read every word of a review, he now has to say this on an episode: Bea Arthur is the best part of the Holiday Special. I love her more than Mara Jade.
A fantastic look at the “in-between” stories sandwiched by Empire and Jedi that were anything but placeholders. This was my favorite period of the comics as the universe expanded with new characters and wild adventures. I have no doubt Shag will give these stories all the love. Give it a listen!
