GREAT. SHOW , GREAT HOSTfinally a gentleman on the radio
Mark Simone helps keep me informed about an interesting city, NYC. You couldn’t pay me enough to live there, but he does bring in some talented people. You don’t have a national presence like he does without talent and likeability.
Each time the person being interviewed is speaking, Mark is vigorously eating, clicking pens, tapping the pen, scribbling with abandon… Maybe stop doing that if you want people to listen?
It sounds like you’re eating during the show. You don't chew with your mouth closed. Too many mouth noises. I have to turn the show off sometimes for awhile. Otherwise, good show.

A talk-heavy, opinion-driven program focused on US politics, economics, media, and New York City issues, with frequent forays into pop culture and entertainment. Episodes feature interviews with political operatives, authors, economists, and entertainment journalists, plus caller segments that probe crime, leadership, and policy in urban America. Notable is the host's provocative, combative style, a penchant for sharp takedowns of politicians and media narratives, and a steady pattern of guests who skew conservative-leaning or economically focused, often tied to current events and national headlines.
