  • A must listen to for a basketball fan!

Love this podcast! I got a chance to meet and talk with Mark and Josh this week at my son’s basketball camp they put on and they are super down-to-earth and genuine. I kept saying “they don’t make NBA players like this anymore. If he didn’t win you over in the eighties, then give this podcast a try and he will! I love the “faith “ aspect of this podcast and it’s refreshing that this is a sports podcast that is entertaining and clean. Thanks Mark!!!

  • Great podcast!

I grew up in the 80s and one of my favorite players was a Mark Price. I even went so far as to wear #25 during my high school basketball career. I was extremely surprised to see that he has a podcast and the first thing I did was subscribe and download every single episode. It appears I have a lot of catching up to do! I am very appreciative, not only for Mark’s insight into basketball, but also his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and how that is really what drives him to be his best. Thank you ... more

  • Memories and what’s important

A friend of mine told me about this podcast just today, 12/22 so I gave it a listen. This was a great time to be a basketball fan, and for that reason alone I would have listened. However, Marks testimony and humility and love for God is what sets this apart from so many others. Thanks for doing this! Looking forward to many more episodes.

  • Coach Denny Price

As a scholar athlete at Phillips University it was a joy being able to play for Coach Price. Coach Price was funny, insightful, and had an true passion to having his players perform at their best.

My experience in Enid, Ok was very exciting for a young man growing up in the DC area.

The stories I gathered with my experience at Phillips have been share with family and friends for years!

Today, my son Bryce, is enjoying his senior year at Carmel Christian leading the #1 NC basketball tea... more

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 163 | Special Guest Mark Steller and a BIG Announcement
Q: How did you three meeting spark this collaboration and eventually lead to the podcast expansion?
A friendship formed over shared faith and mutual connections, grown through breakfasts and joint projects, which evolved into ongoing collaborative efforts and opportunities to host guests.
Episode 159 | Honoring Lenny Wilkens
Q: What kind of coach was Lenny Wilkens when you were rookies versus when you were contending for the playoffs?
He was consistent in core values but adaptable in approach: patient and grace-filled with early rookies, while raising the standard and holding players to accountability as they progressed.
Episode 161 | Special Guest Colin Szumski - Creator of the Mark Price "Trophy Shoe"
Q: How did the first viral video come about and what sparked the idea to cut up a jersey and place it on a shoe?
Colin shares that the concept emerged after seeing a jacket made from jerseys for Taylor Swift during a Super Bowl event, which inspired him to experiment with applying jersey fabric to shoes. The first video, featuring a Travis Kelce pair, went viral and set off a chain of commissions as fans requested more players.
Episode 176 | Gameday Episode with Special Guest Mark Steller
Q: What is Gameday and how does God use it to connect with the community?
Gameday is Grace Church's basketball program that started as a dodgeball initiative and grew into a full facility that hosts hundreds of kids from various schools. It serves as common ground where people learn fundamentals, enjoy the game, and are gently introduced to faith, turning the gym into a welcoming entry point for church involvement.
Episode 181 | Special Guest Sam Amico is Talking Cavs Playoffs
Q: How do you see the Cavaliers' chances in the playoffs this year?
The guests discuss the upper-tier potential if the team stays healthy, can defend the perimeter better, and capitalize on Harden-era adjustments; the path to the finals is narrow but possible if they avoid major injuries and execute in the first round.
