Making the Merge has changed my life, and by that I mean I now have the words “million hearts” permanently tattooed on my body.
If liking this show is wrong, I don’t want to be right. Their songs live in my head rent free, and I need the MTM mixtape to drop ASAP. Their bits quickly become part of my vernacular, and often I find myself in a Mario impression or chomping at the bit to talk about that Jawan sauce. This show used to be amazing, but recently it has prioritized analysis and hard-cutting evaluation of Survivor, something I DID NOT sign up for. What started as a fun show of a group of friends creating hilarious bits and songs has devolved into a serious, analytical examination of Survivor. Where are the jokes?? Where are the funny times and goofy sound bites?? The show has just gotten too serious for me; if I wanted cold hard facts on Survivor, I would just go to Gold Derby at www.goldderby.co... more
Reliant K would never be a bad parody choice. Sometimes this podcast goes off the rails and I put it on 1.5/2 speed. But I enjoy the insights and research and knowledge these guys bring and round out my survivor week.
Love this podcast so entertaining and hilarious! I look forward to these each week and I’m a patreon member! Maybe not the best to listen to if you’re looking for people who have a lot of knowledge and do a lot of research, but I’ve seen every season of survivor I don’t need anyone to tell me about it.
These guys really go off the rails sometimes, but I look forward to their ridiculous analysis every week - by far the best survivor pod out there.
