These guys have true affection for, and knowledge of, MacGyver. They have the right balance of organization, creativity, and humor. They amusingly point out the cheesy aspects of the original MacGyver while unabashedly appreciating when the show is genuinely entertaining or moving. This podcast is an absolute recommend for anyone that loves MacGyver. more
Came for the episode by episode review of macgyver, stayed for the horrible renditions of 80's hits and neverending viewer mail jingle. more
I have always loved MacGyver because it's so silly, and kind, and inventive. The hosts have nailed that exact tone, they're inclusive, don't waffle on too much about unrelated stuff and riff on Mac with a good natured attitude which doesn't alienate anyone. Give it a go if you enjoy nostalgia with personality, it's great!
It's so hard to find podcasts of white men giving opinions about things these days. This show is a refreshing change of pace, in that regard. The chemistry is great. The skits are funny. What's not to love?
