  • Sloppy

They talk over each other and don’t have their facts straight. It’s especially jarring when it’s a ‘this day in history of Apple’ segment. Dude, get the year right and don’t go back and forth on it. Also I listened to almost an hour of MacBook Neo review and the reviewer didn’t bother to test the speakers. You had one job: to review the laptop!

  • Stop the Complaining

You guys really not to stop complaining about how hard it is to make the podcast, how long the podcast is, how difficult this or that is with the podcast. If you don’t want to make the podcast then don’t make it but just stop complaining about it.

The names behind this podcast are known experts from the (feels like it’s late and was great) Macworld magazine. Not necessarily the biggest, but still some pretty respected names. I just wish they didn’t talk over each other so much, as conversational and friendly as the chat is! Sometimes there are awkward silences that really ought to be cut out in post, and I often wish for more female guests or another host for more variety and representation.

There are also some genuinely embarrassing gaf... more

Episode 980: iPhone 18 Pro Colors and the art of reporting Apple leaks
Q: How do you know a rumor can be trusted when you get it from a source?
Trust comes from building relationships with multiple sources, cross-checking information, and confirming similar details with other independent reporters before publishing.
Episode 962: Apple's executive changes
Q: How do you think these executive changes will affect Tim Cook's legacy?
These changes could either enhance Cook's legacy if Apple adapts successfully or cast a shadow if the company struggles.
Episode 953: Up close with the AirPods Pro 3
Q: What are your top three reasons that this is such a good upgrade?
They offer improved comfort, better sound quality with clearer responses, and enhanced noise canceling features.
Episode 874: Should you buy the Apple Vision Pro?
Q: If someone asks you about a recommendation, should they go buy one?
My easy answer is no; the price is huge, and the device isn’t quite ready yet.
