They’re both surprisingly politically conservative and put on rose colored glasses for any analysis of Republican politics. Other macro podcasts I listen to are way more rational and apolitical, and look for opportunities in the political cha... more

thinking someone had a tough week at the “vacation house” (oddly offset every time it was mentioned) if they were short silver & gold) but the delivery really needs to be cleaned up. Main guy ok, but there is a lot of throat clearing and pause words. The bitcoin guy in incomprehensible and you play German audio jokes during the broadcast without explaining them, which is odd.

A weekly macro and geopolitics show featuring seasoned strategists and colleagues from Steno Research. The conversations blend real-time market moves, inflation and currency dynamics, oil flows, and geopolitical developments (notably Middle East tensions and supply chains) with practical trading ideas and portfolio positioning. The tone ranges from tactical market reads to high-level risk assessment, often tying macro narratives to specific sectors like tech, energy, and financial markets. Noteworthy is the emphasis on independent, transparent trade thinking and a willingness to blend data-driven analysis with commentary on policy and geopolitics, which can be both insightful for active investors and instructive for listeners seeking broade... more
