Reviews

4.7 out of 5 stars from 775 ratings
  • Less politics

I vote for the show to focus more on combat sports and less on politics. If people want LT’s political thoughts he has a separate channel for that. I enjoy combat sports content to escape from often depressing world events that I otherwise consume when reading the news. Just my 2 cents.

  • Strange show

It’s supposed to be about MMA but Luke spends nearly the entire show just making fun of Jewish people/being anti-Semetic.

I enjoy listening to LT discuss MMA or other issues. He is well informed and clearly states his opinions vs facts.

  • Why the delay?

Some of my favorite MMA pods post on YouTube and then minutes later will post that same show on Apple Podcasts. Your show takes literal days sometimes weeks to upload onto this platform. I don’t understand. I complain bc I care.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Live Chat: Fighters Quit All The Time. Stop Scandalizing It.
Q: Do you think referees are finally listening to fan criticisms?
Yes, it seems referees are trying to be more strict due to recent criticisms, but it's not uniformly applied.
Live Chat: Crawford's Future, Kimmel's Suspenion, Fighting Nerds Limits
Q: What are your thoughts on the UFC paying tribute to Charlie Kirk on the UFC Noche broadcast?
The UFC is courting a right-wing audience, which is evident in their recent actions.
Live Chat: Canelo-Crawford, Noche UFC and Charlie Kirk's Death
Q: Do you believe these political events will change the behavior of public discourse?
I suspect it will ratchet up inflammation rather than mitigate it because the response tends to be defensive rather than conciliatory.
Live Chat: Canelo-Crawford, Noche UFC and Charlie Kirk's Death
Q: What are your thoughts on the transparency of fighters' purses as discussed by Dana White?
I find it refreshing that someone pressed Dana on these topics, and while he has a standard defense for their purses, it seems like an illogical argument given the norms in other sports.
Live Chat: Tank-Jake Paul, Khamzat Defenders
Q: How impressive is Khamzat Chimaev?
His wrestling is so freaking good, and his top pressure is so good. Dominating Drikus Du Plessis, dominating Robert Whitaker, and beating Kamar Usman all in a row is insane in my opinion.
