At its most basic, the "Look Out, Sir! Warhammer Podcast" is a fortnightly Games Workshop podcast where two long-time friends who have collectively spent far too much of their limited time on this planet collecting, painting, playing small toy soldiers get together over the internet and talk about their crippling addiction to Warhammer and Warhammer Accessories. So, if that sounds like something y... more

Dan and Phil do a great job of making the podcast an easy listen without skimping on detail. Every episode manages to be informative through casual conversation, without ever feeling like I’m being lectured. It is refreshingly unbiased without being overly critical, even if they do both long for days of old, don’t we all.
I’d like to add I think the 5 star review is an underrated segment, giving members of the community an opportunity to get Dan and Phil’s valued opinions on their own minis. Sp... more
When I started the hobby, Dan and Phil were there to help me understand what on earth I had gotten into. A life induced break later and I have come back to the hobby; Dan and Phil are still here to bring me up to speed on what I’ve missed. Look Out Sir is my Monday soundtrack as I travel to work. Informative, passionate, and always honest; Dan and Phil are the lighthouse on the shore of the wild sea that is Warhammer churn. Long may they continue.
Honest, entertaining and critical without being salty. Dan and Phil are a balanced duo who make you feel like you’re hanging out with your friends talking about 40K. They express their feelings on GW games with sincerity. An overall positive pod. Even when unhappy with GW decisions or states of play, they voice their love for Warhammer. On one of my favorite episodes, Dan and Philip battled it out in a Demon Primarch tournament. For what would seemingly be more well suited for video, they ... more

Painting and playing, Warhammer was the thing that bound our friendship circle. Years passed, and the hobby went away, replaced by more important things. One day, as a grown person, a podcast twinkled in the search tab. A half remembered memory, of grim dark horrors and mythic tales. “Look out sir”…is what it said, and I thought, what harm could it bring, ... more
