  • Too many Advertisements

Love Q and he is very knowledgeable and has great guests. However the Locked on Brand has too many Advertisements. Half the show is Ads . 15 min of great content. 15 min of Ads. Very frustrating.

  • Room to Improve

Q’s regular show is pretty decent, he is passionate and does a good job of covering all goings on with the Raiders. The show does lack some depth. Q is not an X’s and O’s football guy and lacks the deep football IQ needed to make this a really great show. The new “Raiders Squad” bit could change this but so far the new co-hosts are just Ok. Lincoln Kennedy has some good insights as a former player but Shantelle should be replaced with a real football nerd who keeps up with the all the details... more

NFL Owners to Vote on Raiders Succession plan
Q: give me your quick thoughts on Fernando Mendoza, not to sway the Raiders to go in another direction, what was Mel's thoughts on Mendoza, and also what you do around Mendoza at number 36 to help him?
Mel liked Mendoza more than some others but noted concerns about his arm and playmaking; he suggested surrounding Mendoza with strong offensive line talent and multiple day-one to day-three options to protect and support him, indicating Mendoza could thrive with a solid supporting cast.
Discover what Raiders newcomer Spencer Burford adds to the team
Q: What should Raider Nation expect from Spencer Burford in the Raiders' offense?
Brian Peacock explains that Burford brings familiarity with Clint Kubiak's scheme from his 49ers tenure, plus starting experience that should help the offensive line adapt quickly and push youngsters, though he may not step in as an immediate starter and could provide depth and development potential.
Impact Free Agents the Raiders could look to add
Q: Fred from Bakersfield asks whether Mendoza should be trusted to start week one given his performance and leadership, and what the Raiders should prioritize in his development.
Q acknowledges that Mendoza could start if he proves ready, but cautions against rushing him; the three P's—play caller, protection, and playmakers—must be in place to give him the best chance to succeed.
How the Raiders Can Kickstart Their Rebuild
Q: What is the proposed timeline for turning the Raiders around?
The host suggests a multi-year rebuild with heavy emphasis on developing young players, having 10 draft picks and significant cap space, and not rushing the turnaround to avoid creating a quick rise and fall. The expectation is gradual growth with meaningful rookie contributions in 2026.
RAIDERS SQUAD SHOW: Las Vegas RAIDERS eye WR ELIJAH SARRATT at 2026 NFL COMBINE | Maxx CROSBY value
Q: What are the Raiders looking to address in the draft?
The Raiders need to focus on multiple positions due to considerable gaps in their roster, requiring careful consideration in both the draft and free agency.
