I love this podcast
I used to really enjoy this pod, but Tony has just gotten awful. He’s just trolling VGK now. We’re fans of the team, it’s not fun listening to you rail on them constantly. I like that Chris will give an honest assessment and critique from a hockey perspective. The trolling is not enjoyable. Keep Chris…replace Tony.
I used to enjoy the balanced approach to the show but Tony went from providing an opposing view to just being a troll. He bashes players, GM and coach just so he has something to say. He invents drama from literally nothing and drags players names just to have a headline. This is not TMZ bro. That and the loooong ad reads is driving me away. I prefer to listen to the opposition podcast now. They seem to provide better content about VGK than this podcast.
I can appreciate that Chris and Tony want to give a “fan’s” view and not lean into being complete homers for the team they’re team they’re covering, but I can’t stand Tony’s need to get himself and his gimmicks over every episode. I find myself fast forwarding every time he speaks so that I don’t have to hear him say “rigged” or “asterisk” every 5 words or just bash on a player or the team for no reason.
I’m just thankful I’m not a fan of the teams he broadcasts for.
Good podcast except for the 5 mins EVERY show where the Rangers fan makes of VGk coaches & players and the local guy talks about his Twitter fights & how they get some info wrong or google it on the fly. August 16th is a great example of how unprepared they can be & just don’t care.
