I’ve tried to listen, but this is easily the worst flyer podcast. Cohen is way too monotone, and mostly negative. Rachel can’t seem to understand hockey, obsessed lately with Delo playing, not understanding why he in the lineup, well he’s gonna play when the other team is heavy, or have a bonafide tough guy(xhekaj, foligno, etc). In general every locked in podcast are terrible.
Russ Cohen obviously hates the Flyers and can’t hide his disdain. Rachel is much more objective and balanced. Cohen’s negative bias is evident by his off the wall assumption about Kolosov playing time in preseason being forced on Tocchet by Briere near the end of today’s podcast. I find most of his takes inane and negatively skewed. Not looking for a homer but this guy is an obvious NY sports fan (probably Islanders) and has no business being on a Flyers podcast.
I can do without the screaming moron. You’re ruining a quality pod.
Thank you for your objective Flyers evaluations and Phantoms news. Two things that are sometimes difficult to find here. Met Mr. Cohen at a Flyers Fan Club meeting in Voorhees and he was just what you’d expect… gracious, patient, and informed. Appreciate you both and listen to every show. Thank you.
So far getting pretty danged good. Rach and Russ getting it done now as for them stand ins
This poddy is spot on fair and honest thoughts and opinions in sea of mostly team propagandists
