I like Spencer and the energy and knowledge he brings to the show. I would have given the show 5 stars if it weren’t for the ANNOYING corporate mandate of CAPITALIZING at least ONE word per TITLE. And stop the HYBERBOLE. Stop calling things urgent when they are not. This ANNOYING trend started a few months ago and is obviously a mandate from someone in marketing. That person may see it as branding but I see it as formulaic and a turn off.
Spencer knows his stuff and I like his takes but it’s a super hard listen for me because he just repeats the same thing over and over again. Like, dude, I get it, if Oregon wins their last 4 games they’ll be in the playoffs. You don’t need to repeat that same concept a dozen times. Just seems like filling time with empty content to make a daily podcast. More substance and covering more topics would be nice instead of just saying the same two talking points over and over again.
He has personality. He doesn’t shout stuff for clicks. And knows his stuff. And gives pretty measured takes. I really enjoyed his podcast
Enjoy but stop trynna be josh pate!! Love your own analysis.
Spencer knows his stuff. Thanks!! It’s a great way to follow Oregon football year round.
