    NHL soft trade deadline on Feb 9 2025, but if trade happen After Feb 9 2025 3 pm can happen. Any player after Feb 9 2025 3pm, trade player are not eligible to rest of season

    For example, April 2, trade happen from caps and Buffalo for trade Dave Johnson to the Buffalo for draft picks. DJ can not play rest of season.
