  • The fan’s perspective

The pleasure in “Locked On Blue Jays” is hearing the (knowledgeable) fan’s perspective. I love that they don’t try to hide their emotional responses, so this is a great outlet for a sense of community—whether in frustration or joy. If you want cool analysis of the “more level-headed than thou” variety, or insider access to player interviews, etc., there are other podcasts for that. • Literally just two dudes talking too fast with unoriginal takes.

This podcast offers absolutely nothing new or novel when it comes to baseball commentary. Just two dudes with unoriginal takes and poor recording equipment hashing the same talking points as the more professional podcasts out there.

Gave it a good crack, and although they are not the worst, it’s a skip for me.

  • Good Jays Pod - Horrible Episode Titles

Enjoy listening to these guys when I’m jonsing for some more jays content, but I’m so put off by the over the top click bait titles of the episodes that I’ve been on a hiatus. Not sure why but it genuinely pisses me off. Please please please stop with all the woke words in all caps, some words in asterisks, and just the generally annoying YouTube thumbnail titles.
