  • Great podcast about a disappointing team

Mike and Jon do a great job covering this disappointing team. If only we could get someone within the organization to listen to these guys, they might finish over .500

  • The Super Halo Bros are superb!

The Super Halo Bros Mike & Jon was the final factor that made me select the Angels as my team to root for. I listen everyday and highly enjoy their baseball discussions and analysis. They are tough but fair when talking about the halos.

    Great listen, 5 stars!

  • Best podcast I could ask for

Hi guys, I just want to thank you for doing an excellent job. I’ve listened to you guys for a few years, and I love everything you do. I appreciate the optimism as I am pretty pessimistic about the team, but I also love when you guys go on rants as it’s very entertaining. I love how you guys have great insight, and how Jon brings the stats to back it up. You guys also are great guys and great people. I hope the angels can make the playoffs this year as I’m 18, so I hardly remember when they were... more

BIG "IF": What Angels NEED to Do to COMPETE for a Wild Card Spot | FANMAIL FRIDAY Questions Answered
Q: If Aldegheri has another solid outing for Italy, would you consider moving him over Klassen and Kochanowicz to start the season?
Another solid international outing would strengthen his case, but the decision will still weigh his overall development, the need for immediate major-league readiness, and whether the team prioritizes a proven commodity or a younger option.
BIG "IF": What Angels NEED to Do to COMPETE for a Wild Card Spot | FANMAIL FRIDAY Questions Answered
Q: Rotation decisions: would you start Peraza over More at second, and who should get the fifth spot?
Peraza has impressed enough with his defense and versatility to warrant consideration, but the emphasis remains on More for consistency; for the fifth spot, Aldegheri or Kochanowicz could win it based on spring performance and how quickly they adapt to the majors.
BIG "IF": What Angels NEED to Do to COMPETE for a Wild Card Spot | FANMAIL FRIDAY Questions Answered
Q: Complete this sentence, will they compete for a wild card spot if,
If the Angels stay healthy, avoid the health narrative entirely, and the lineup shows improved plate discipline and contact, they can plausibly compete for a wild card spot, provided the young core tightens up and the pitching depth holds up.
ALL OR NOTHING: The Angels GAMBLE on a Season DEFINED By Everything Going Very RIGHT or Very WRONG
Q: What happens if the Angels hit the under on 70.5 wins this season?
If the team underperforms, they may need to reconsider their roster decisions and could potentially trade underperforming players, depending on their health and market value.
ALL OR NOTHING: The Angels GAMBLE on a Season DEFINED By Everything Going Very RIGHT or Very WRONG
Q: If the Angels lose the house by betting on all of these high risk, high reward players, what happens then?
Bad health could be a significant issue, with potential injuries to key players like Mike Trout and others, leading to reliance on unproven team members.
