This is such a great podcast! I put it on my World Literature syllabus and students really enjoy getting to hear different academic perspectives on writers like Chinua Achebe and Anna Akhmatova. It also gives them a strong sense of the writers historical context. I also enjoy listening and have learned a few things. The quality of the interviews is fantastic. I am also here for the cat content!
Captivating discussions of interesting literary works with different guests. Covers a variety of well-known books and highlights different dimensions around the question of canonicity and what we might consider a book of the century. Wish there were more episodes!
Broad generalizations.
If you miss the digging into great novels that was, for me, the best part of my English Lit degree then this is the podcast for you!
This is the literary podcast you never knew you desperately needed.
Am so excited to hear the rest of the series
