Thanks Light Years for getting me through a disappointing and frustrating Warriors season. This podcast is great to tap into the feelings of the fans, especially as a Warriors fan outside the Bay Area. The guys know basketball well enough to reflect on the games and the issues well. Not the deepest X and O or game recap pod but that’s better suited to video anyway. 10/10 no notes.

  • If Alex Jones had a Warriors podcast

If Alex Jones had an nba podcast this is exactly what it would look like. If you are into delusional conspiracy theories over X’s and O’s and real basketball talk then this is the podcast for you. If not, stick with Warriors +\-.

  • Steph Media Network

Same takes little nuance, constant doubling down when information contrary to their takes present themselves. ESPN style narrative driven podcast that doesn’t get into the thick of it. Whole concept is to play off the hyper emotional Steph stans. Willing to slander and defame innocent bystanders to prop Steph up, not understanding there’s five guys in the floor. Do not recommend unless you are the aforementioned listener.

  • Name Drop

Good show, but you guys gotta stop doing the whole ‘friend of the show’ thing. This is San Francisco, not LA. No need for name dropping.

  • Used to be good

Sam and Andy have not dealt with the decline of the Warriors well. When they’re doing okay it’s all “Steph the MVP, Draymond clearly DPOY, how could Wiggins not be an all star,” etc. When they’re not, it’s constant whining and excuse making. They’re like obnoxious parents of Steph that blame everyone and everything when they boy just isn’t playing well. I haven’t been able to get all the way through a pod in weeks. At least I’m not so upset when the Warriors lose now because at least I know it’s... more
