Composer Lennie Moore wrote such gorgeous music for Outcast - A New Beginning that it made me mad, no exaggeration. It's so pleasing harmonically with fantastic melodies and transitions, and outstanding musicianship from the soloists and performers. more

This corner of the world deserves representation, and the Level team really delivers. At the time of this review, they’re a small but mighty music podcast that interviews video game composers and the like, and I hope they continue to grow. The content is perfect for a lifelong hobbyist musician and video game enthusiast like myself. The varying approaches of each composer and project keeps things fresh and engaging. You will learn things!
A great podcast about video game music. It’s personable, insightful, and thoughtfully assembled. It’s nice to hear the voices behind the music. Thanks Emily!
I may be biased having been interviewed a few years back, but I reccomend this podcast to anyone I can, it's freakin incredible and deserves all the ears possible.
Completely unaware that the reason why Top Score hadn’t had an update in so long was that Emily had a new podcast! Level bridges that gap of appreciating game scores and discovering how composers discovered the unique sounds they needed. I love the passion in this podcast and I’m powering through all the years of content I missed!
This podcast has everything from heartfelt moments, to deep technical talk, to comedy. The conversation centers around the music in videos games, and Emily talks with the composers who write it. It’s insightful, it’s fun, it’s addicting. Video game music is some of the best music being written in the modern age, it is great to have a podcast showing it off!
