  • Informative and insightful

Thank you for producing this podcast, especially this last episode on Iranian Doctor being detained by ICE. The last part of the discussion about our role and responsibility about other communities who have been impacted by US policies in sanctions and travel ban was particularly important. Thanks again for the great work

  • Enjoyed the podcast

Due to the ongoing and current conflict between Iran and USA I wanted to research a bit more about what’s the underlying difference actually constitutes of. I have listened to three episodes so far and continuing on the fourth and I must say it is a very good discussion on several important topics and eye opener. • REGIME PROPAGANDA

The NIAC has absolutely no credibility when it comes to the subject of Iran because of what was revealed in their noted legal loss and court sanctions stemming from their failed attempts to silence one of their critics.

War, Weaponization, or a Deal: President Trump's High Stakes Approach Toward Iran
Q: Curt, Trump wants an American first foreign policy, so what's the case for why a deal would put America first as opposed to this bombing campaign?
The case is that military action could lead to a prolonged conflict, whereas a diplomatic deal may be presented as beneficial not just for U.S. national security but also politically advantageous for Trump.
War, Weaponization, or a Deal: President Trump's High Stakes Approach Toward Iran
Q: Jamal, let's say negotiations break down and we do get to the stage where there is war, what would a bombing campaign against Iran's nuclear program look like? Would it wipe out the Iranian nuclear threat or encourage a doubling down?
A bombing campaign would not eliminate the nuclear threat; even advocates for military action agree that the program is dispersed and would require a sustained campaign, potentially resulting in prolonged military involvement and escalation.
War, Weaponization, or a Deal: President Trump's High Stakes Approach Toward Iran
Q: So, Negar, on the hawkish rhetoric that Trump has been using in recent days, how does this play inside of Iran?
Iran seems to be taking the threats seriously but is also emphasizing that they will not negotiate under pressure, and their policy is one of maximum resistance against such threats.
War, Weaponization, or a Deal: President Trump's High Stakes Approach Toward Iran
Q: Curt, we can start with you. President Trump has entered office. He's had a couple of months. Iran has received a lot of attention, and I think it's pretty clear that he's emphasized diplomacy and getting a verified nuclear peace agreement with Iran. What is the Trump Administration approach toward Iran, as best we can tell?
The approach seems to reflect a struggle between factions within the administration, with some advocating for a complete dismantlement of Iran’s nuclear program while others push for verification and diplomacy.
