このコーチ・シェーンなる人物、2つのポッドキャストを持っているが、何人かの人が指摘しているように、無駄に騒々しいハードロックなジングルで男らしさを強調したいのか？かと思えば、コンプレックスからなのか自分の髪の毛が薄いことを無駄に何度も繰り返しネタにしたり、そしてごくたまに、英会話を学んでいる段階の者が覚える必要のない、差別的な表現を教えていたり、個人的には不愉快さの限度を超えてしまった。非常に聞き取りやすい発声で初心者さんにはおすすめだと思う一方で、教えている表現はあまり耳にしない古臭い表現ばかりで、実用的な表現は異常なまでに少なく、有料会員向けにしか実用的な表現を教えない戦略なのだと思われる。珍しい表現を学べるという良い面もあるわけなので全て耳を通してみたが、最終的には鬱陶しさに耐えられなくなった。毎回最後に「批判があれば連絡してくれ」と言っているのも、おそらくは苦情が多く来ているのだと思われるが、本人、頑固そうだし、改善する気はサラサラないと思われる。まあ、私はもうお腹いっぱい。解約。
